Coastal Community Foundation (CCF) has a number of scholarships available for graduating high school seniors. Eligibility for each scholarship is outlined below. Application Deadline: Monday, April 1, 2024.
Selection Criteria
No members of the families of the Scholarship Committee, or employees of the Foundation, shall be eligible for any scholarship. Scholarship awards typically range from $500 – $3,000. The Foundation will not distribute funds if no suitable candidates are found in a given period of time. All scholarship awards will be granted directly to the college or university by December 2024.

Join us as a Partner in Philanthropy. Your gift allows the Foundation to respond to community needs through grantmaking programs, provide technical assistance to nonprofits, and support our work in building community philanthropy. Partners are recognized on our website and annual publication.
Scholarships are available for San Diego County students (elementary, middle and high school) to attend the San Diego Suzuki Institute camp for piano. See camp information: https://suzukiassociation.org/events/loc/san-diego-suzuki-institute/
Awards are open to students studying Suzuki music (piano only). Scholarships are not available for private music lessons. For questions contact the Foundation at scholarships@coastalfoundation.org or call (760) 942-9245.
This scholarship is available to a college student who is majoring in biology or molecular biology at UCSD and is pursuing a career as a scientist or researcher. Applicants must be sophomores or juniors at the time of application. Scholarship amount is $2,500. See guidelines at upper right of this page.
This scholarship is available for a teacher currently teaching in the Carlsbad Unified School District or Encinitas Union who wishes to pursue graduate work in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field. Scholarship amount is $2,000. Scholarship is based on merit and financial need. Candidate with community service experience preferred. See guidelines at upper right of this page.
